Blog EntryPosing in Posen, marking for MarcApr 3, '08 5:09 PM
for everyone
It was a choice between Liverpool and  Zac Posen. I picked the Reds and it didn't even turn out to be a very exciting game. Yes, I know. Since when has football been more important than fashion?

I decided to pop by Target after work to check what was left of the Zac Posen collection... if there was even anything at all. I was surprised to see lots of 6's in a variety of styles but what I really wanted were the pussy bow shirt and the ponti dress. They were both gone. After trying clothes on for what seemed like forever, I finally decided on these:

I love this shirt! It reminds me of those puffy shirts that men wore in the 17th century but with a very feminine feel to it.

I also got this pretty georgette skirt which I paired with a Gail Sorronda top and MJ shoes. It would've been a great summer outfit if only summer hadn't already come and gone. Ah well... it'll be good for salsa anytime. :)

zac meets marc meets yeojin

I'm still after the ponti dress so I'll probably try my luck out at Tuggers later. And after that, sense and sensibility na talaga!

I'm loving MBMJ more and more (if that's even possible). How cute are these things from the Spring collection?

I can't get over how adorable this is. I saw a photo of it in yellow a couple of months back but I think the blue has started grabbing me more. I love the scribbles and the rope handles. And it meets my requirements in terms of size. Uh oh... I can smell trouble coming.

i want you.

Blog EntryThe Holiday Hot ListFeb 3, '08 6:57 AM
for everyone
This is my first entry for 2008 so I believe wishing you a happy new year is in order. I hope your 2008 has been off to a good start and has brought you reasons to look forward to the months ahead.

I hadn't posted anything  for over a month and it's been somewhat liberating. It was good to not feel a strong need to go online whilst I was away. And it's quite surprising how that detachment lingered for weeks after I've returned from my holiday. January was busy and it was gone before I know it. It was all about picking up where last year's work left off, missing my family and managing my health. A few of you would know that I got sick with a throat infection  that led to an allergic reaction to my antibiotics. To make the long story short, I had to stay home and miss work for a full week. I had a lot of free time on my hands but as expected, I got bored out of my wits. I did get around to doing a few "productive" things with the little amount of energy that I was capable of expending. In between cleaning my hard drive and downloading Gossip Girl, cheering for Nole and eating healthy, doing a bit of work from home and trying to get better, I was finally able to organise the holiday photos as per Mom's request. You're most welcome to have a look, of course.

And here it is... my holiday hot list!

This is what holidays are made of.

Blog EntryThe Knockoff Series (part 1)Aug 7, '07 4:46 AM
for everyone
I spent the whole afternoon in the shops last Sunday and had so much fun. Now, don't go nasty on me. I just styled Csab and helped him decide what to buy. In all fairness to him, I didn't think that he'd have all that energy for shopping. He usually sulks whenever shopping's on the agenda so just imagine how proud I was when he happily recounted all his purchases from the day. And I must admit that I was proud of myself as well. I didn't buy a single thing! I distracted myself by taking photos of knockoff bags instead. Kakaiba... ang dami and they weren't even cheap. I'd love to walk into a shop and see original designs by creative people for a change. Although it was quite amusing, really. And to share this amusement with you, here are the replica bags by my two favourites:
